Railroad

Since we began operations in 1973, our railroad has undergone a remarkable transformation. From a single-track line, it has grown into a strategic infrastructure that is essential to both mining operations and local communities.

Stretching 132 km, this line connects the bauxite-rich mining area of Sangarédi to the industrial zone of Kamsar. Today, it serves as the lifeline for ore transportation in northwestern Guinea, providing continuous support for the performance of our operations.

To ensure safe and controlled traffic flow, particularly in densely populated areas, the rail corridor is fully enclosed by a wire-mesh fence, thereby enhancing safety for local residents and traffic.

In partnership with the Multi-User Project, we have also resumed passenger train service, directly benefiting local communities. This initiative is part of an effort to share rail infrastructure, effectively combining mining transportation with intercity mobility.

It serves as a concrete example of our operational expertise and our ability to develop integrated logistics solutions that deliver significant economic and social value.
